if the base of a right angled triangle is 15 cm and its hypotenuse is 25 CM, then find its area.

area \: of \: traingle = \frac{1}{2} \times b \times h

 \frac{1}{2} \times ac \times ab

ab {}^{2} + ac {}^{2} = bc {}^{2}

ab {}^{2} = bc {}^{2} - ac {}^{2}

ab {}^{2} = 25 {}^{2} - 15 {}^{2}

 = 625 - 225

ab {}^{2} = 400

ab = 20cm

area \: = \frac{1}{2} \times 15 \times 20

= 150cm
