x²-10x+16
x²-8x-2x+16
x(x-8)-2(x-8)
(x-2)(x-8)

(x-2)=0
x=2

(x-8)=0
x=8

According to your question,
let length be 8
& breadth be 2...........(they are the dimensions of rectangle as given in question)

perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)
=2(8+2)
=2×10
=20unit
