Answer: Genotype of the offsprings will be- BB , Bb , Bb , bb

phenotype of the offsprings will be - Black fur : Brown fur in the ratio 3 : 1

Genotype is the genetic makeup of a cell and thus reflects the genome of the individual.

Phenotype is the morphological form or physical appearance of the individual. There is a specific genotype and phenotype which is attributed to a specific trait ( like brown fur in this question).

Since black fur B is dominant, so both parents with genotype Bb will be having black furs. When intercrossed, the resultant offspring can be understood with the help of following attachment.
