Step-by-step explanation:

thickness of the 4 books stacked together

=4× 24mm

=96mm

thickness of the 6 sheets stacked together

=6×0.015mm

=0.09mm

thus, total thickness=96+0.09mm

=96.09mm

=96.1mm (approx.)

Answer:

Number of books in the stack = 4

Thickness of books = 24 mm

So , total thickness of the books  = 24 x 4 = 96 mm

Number of paper sheets = 6

Thickness of paper sheets = 0.015

So , total thickness of paper sheets  = 0.015 x 6 = 0.09 mm

Therefore,  the total thickness of the stack = 96 mm + 0.09 mm = 96.09 mm

In standard form = 96.09 / 10 = 9.609 cm ( 10 mm = 1 cm )

Hope it helps :)
