In how many years is simple interest on rupees 4000 will be rupees 600 at the rate of interest 5% per annum

Rate % = 5% p.a ――― (R)


Simple Interest = ₹ 600 ――― (S.I)


Let the time be T

therefore,

 =  > S.I. =  \frac{P \times R \times T}{100} \\  \\  =  > 600 = \frac{4000 \times 5 \times T}{100}  \\  \\  =  > 600 = 200T \\  \\  =  >  \frac{600}{200}  = T \\ \\  =  > 3 = T

Therefore , time is 3 years
