since AB parallel EG parallel DC
and E is the midpoint of AD
so, EG=(AB+DC)/2
=(6+10)/2
=16/2
=8 cm
thus EG is equal to 8 cm
and E is the midpoint of AD
so, EG=(AB+DC)/2

=8 cm
