1.The haemoglobin in the blood of the earthworm carries the oxygen around the body of the worms. CO2 is lost from the body by the opposite process - though CO2 is not carried by the haemoglobin.


2.Blood of rat constitutes of plasma and red corpuscles. Blood corpuscles are of three types in rats- RBC’s, WBC’s and platelets.respiratory pigment is haemoglobin present in RBC’s.
