It is said that the mass of an object remains constant at all places while weight may change. Why?
give answer for 2 marks and a valid answer .

Answer.

Mass independent upon gravity but weight is depend upon gravity. So, we can say that the mass of an object remains constant at all places but weight do not constant it changes due to changing of places....

Weight is the force with which earth(or any other bigger body then the object) attracts the object towards it.
While
Mass is the amount of matter the object contains irrespective of it shape or size.

Thus weight vary from place to place( like from a planet to another ) due to different force of attraction of a bigger body and mass that is the matter inside the body doesn’t differ from place to place and remains same everywhere
