A cyclist moves a distance of 30 m from points A to B in a straight line towards East with
a speed of 10 ms. He then moves a distance or 40 m from points B to C in a straight line
towards North with a speed of 20 ms ! Calculate the cyclist's (i) average speed, (ii) average
velocity, for the whole journey. 16) 14 ms (it) 10 ms along AC in north-east direction)​
