Just tell me that among acid and base,who is acidic in nature and who is basic in nature? It's all confusing coz somewhere it is written that bases are acidic in nature and somewhere it is written that bases are basic in nature.......

Bases are bitter in taste and changes red litmus blue and are soapy like shampoos and toothpastes.Some bases like shampoo maybe acidic maybe some acid used.Acids are very harmful and can have a bad effect on our skin.

Acids are sour in taste and are not soapy and change blur litmus red.

acid tastes sour and base tastes bitter.acid turns litmus paper from blue to red.they are harmful .the organic acids are harmful and can burn skin.they are made in Laboratories. the natural acids are not that harmful and are found in environment.bases are also used to make salts if base is more the salt is basic in nature and if acid is more it is acidic in nature.and if both are in equal quantities the salt is neutral.
