i) (a/b) ^-n = (b/a) ^n
ii) a^m * a^n = a^ (m+n)
iii) if a^m = a^n ⇔ m=n
given
(-5/7)^-11 * (-7/5)^-5 = (-5/7) ^-3x+3
⇒ (-5/7)^-11 * (-5/7) ^5 = (-5/7) ^ -3x+3
⇒(-5/7) ^(-11+5) = (-5/7) ^-3x +3
⇒-11 +5 = -3x+3
⇒-6 = -3x +3
⇒-6-3 = -3x
⇒-9 = -3x
∴ -9/-3 =x
x=3
