solution : option (a) frequency

light owes its colour to its frequency. of course, it is frequency that specifies the color of light or spectral radiation.

for example , you can make the red light have the same wavelength as green light by passing red light through glass or air.

but you can't make red light have the same frequency as green light by passing through glass.

hence, option (a) frequency is correct

(A) Frequency

Generally, the colour of the light is depicted due to its wavelength but as the option is not provided here, the colour of the light that we see is also depicted by frequency.

The lesser the frequency of the light will be, the higher will be its wavelength which means that the colour will be visible to us even from a farther distance.

The colour red has the lowest frequency and the colour violet has the highest frequency.
