similarities are that :
in both of them energy is produced by the breakdown of food
and that it takes place in the cell of the organism.
differnces are that:
aerobic respiration takes place in the presence of oxygen but anaerobic respiration takes place in the absence of oxygen.
and in aerobic r. complete breakdown of food occurs but in anaerobic r. partial brekdown of food occurs.

■ Anaerobic respiration
♤ 1. This process take place in absence of oxygen.
♤ 2. Incomplete breakdown of glucose take place.
♤ 3. End products are Ethanol, Carbon dioxide and Energy.
♤ 4. It occurs in yeast and sometimes in muscle cell of human being.
♤ 5. Less amount of energy is released during this process.
■ Aerobic respiration
♤ 1. This process take place in the presence of oxygen.
♤ 2. Complete breakdown of glucose take place.
♤ 3. End products are Carbon dioxide,Water and Energy.
♤ 4. It occurs in plants and animals.
♤ 5. More amount of energy is released during this process.
