Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is a national level campaign which was started by the Indian government on October 2, 2014. The aim of this campaign is to clean all the cities and towns of India
These campaigns were started by the current Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Mahatma Gandhi's 145th Birthday. Mahatma Gandhi had a dream to make a clean country, so he gave an excellent message to the nation by providing education to keep the people around him clean. This mission is estimated to be completed by 2019, which will be the 150th birth anniversary of Gandhiji.
This campaign involves the construction of toilets, promoting sanitation programs in rural areas, cleaning of streets and roads, changing the country's infrastructure. On the inauguration of this mission, about 30 lakh schools and college students and government employees took part, which started by the Prime Minister clearing the road itself. Modi ji declared the names of nine big celebrities, who were given the responsibility of motivating people for this campaign.
Through this campaign, the Government of India will solve the problems of sanitation by increasing the West Management techniques. The Clean India movement is fully connected with the economic strength of the country.
