Every country has got its own National Flag. The Indian National flag also known as the Tiranga is a tri-color flag.
The constituent assembly adopted the tricolor flag on 22 July 1947 to mark India as a free, independent nation. The importance of tricolor flag holds saffron strip as the first strip.
This means the strength and courage of the country. Then comes the white band which indicates tranquility and truth. The last band is of green color which indicates prosperity and abundance.
The middle white band comprises of a blue chakra with 24 lines known as the Ashok Chakra.
