Hey User ✌
Here's your answer friend,
==> The work in the wheat fields begin after the rainy season. In the month of October and November. At this time the land is moist and soft. The fields are ploughed and the soil is broken sometimes with the help of either a tractor or an ox-pulled plough.
==> The seeds are down in the rows either by broadcasting, dibbling, drilling methods.
⭕ Broadcasting : In this method seeds are broadcast and then harrowing in order to cover them.
⭕ Drilling : In this method seed is sown by seed drill.
⭕ Dibbling : This method is used in case the supply of seed is limited.
At the time of sowing the soil has enough moisture for growth of the plant.
==> The grain starts appearing by the end of the February and the harvesting begin after summer month. In the south INDIA the crop ripens the bit earlier. At the time of harvesting the grain is hard and stalk is brittle. Harvesting in south INDIA done mostly by hands.
The combine harvesters are preferred as it can do harvesting as well as threshing and packing.

The farmers of Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh made series of changes in their cultivation to bring about drastic increase in the levels of production of wheat and rice in their farms under the Green Revolution. Some of the measures they used are as follows:
· Use of HYV seeds: Farmers used the High Yielding Variety of seeds, often imported from other countries to increase their productions levels. The use of such seeds brought about great increase in the same.
· Use of modern irrigation methods: The Green Revolution brought in the employment of tube wells and other modern irrigation methods for irrigating farms. This brought about lesser dependence on rains for the crops, and bettered the productions levels.
· Use of herbicides, pesticides, synthetic nitrogen fertilisers, and weedicides: With such resources, the farmers were not only able to curb the losses in their crops because of weeds and pests, but uses of high-gra
