Explanation:

  1. The innermost layer of the earth is core and it is subjected to extreme pressure and temperature.It can be divided into two parts:- inner and outer core.The outer core is about 2300km thick and contains iron and nickel in the molten state.Small amounts of sulphur is also found in the outer core.The inner core is a solid ball of iron which is 1200 km thick.

2.The outermost layer of the earth is crust.It is made of solid rocks and has everything that is required for our survival.its thickness varies from 5 km under the ocean floor to 70 km under the continents.
