Speed in remaining 5 hours , v = 24 km/h .

We know , average speed is total distance covered by total time taken .

v_{avg}=\dfrac{v\times t_1+u\times t_2}{t_1+t_2}

Putting every value in above equation .

We get ,

v_{avg}=\dfrac{60\times 4+24\times 5}{4+5}\\\\v_{avg}=\dfrac{240+120}{9}\\\\v_{avg}=40\ km/h\ .
