NO is paramagnetic but still it is colourless gas why ????

If this frequency falls under visible spectrum, you can see a complementary colour of the compound. In oxygen, this Photon absorbance frequency do not lie in the visible spectrum and hence you don't see any colour. It's a colourless gas. :) Is V3+ a paramagnetic or diamagnetic?
