Non-Cooperation Movement was launched by Gandhi in 1920. The Movement was launched at a special session of Congress at Calcutta. The program was launched to boycott foreign goods, government schools and colleges, law courts and legislative council. The Movement was launched to work for Hindu Muslim unity, to support Khilafat Movement and remove untouchability. This movement was mainly formed to resist British people from ruling India by means of Ahimsa or non-violence.
