a) The speaker in the first line is Lencho and the woman is Lencho's wife.

(6) They are going to get some good downpour of rain.

(c) Lencho had sown corn crops and they've grown in a good condition. Now these crops needed some downpour of rain badly, so water is important for them.

(d) No. They didn't get the water they needed at last., because the rain turned into a hail storm and all the crop were destroyed.
