OF2 is known as oxygen difuoride and not florine oxide why?

Out of oxygen and fluorine, fluorine is more electronegative. This in OF2 it has a negative oxidation state(-1) .OF2 is a fluoride of oxygen and not oxide of fluoride. According to convention more electronegative element is written afterwards. That is why OF2 is written and not F2O (Fluorine oxide)
