Step-by-step explanation:

We have,

LCM of 40 cm, 42 cm and 45 cm

 Now,

, By removing many of the least common ,

 40 = 2 × 2 × 2 × 5,

 42 = 2 × 3 × 7

45 = 3 × 3 × 5

lcm On keeping

∴ LCM (40, 42, 45)

= 2 × 3 × 5 × 2 × 2 × 3 × 7

= 30 × 12 × 7

= 210 × 12

= 2520

We received 2520 cm
