Let ,

the number be = x

\large\underline{\underline{\sf \red{According\:To\: Question}:}}

\implies{\sf \dfrac{x}{5}+5=\dfrac{x}{4}-4 }

\implies{\sf \dfrac{x+25}{5}=\dfrac{x+16}{4} }

\implies{\sf 5(x+16)=4(x+25)}

\implies{\sf 5x+80=4x+100 }

  • 1/5th of a number is inc. by 5 is equal to 4 less than 1/4th of that number ..

\Large\underline{\underline{\sf{To\:Find}:}}

  • Find the original Number ?

\Large\underline{\underline{\sf{Solution}:}}

Let the number be x .

Than its 1/5th will be = x/5

its 1/4th will be = x/4

A/q, now,

 \red{ \frac{x}{5}  + 5 =  \frac{x}{4}  - 4} \\  \\  \implies \:  \green{ \frac{x}{5}  -  \frac{x}{4} =  - 4 - 5 } \\  \\ \implies   \ \:  \pink{\frac{ - x}{20}  =  - 9} \\  \\ \implies \:  \orange{x = 180}

Hence, The required Number will be \red{\bold{</strong><strong>1</strong><strong>8</strong><strong>0</strong><strong>}}
