According to the question there are two polynomial given as follow:

P(x)=2/3*x²+5x+6, s(x) = x+6

For this particular question we cannot show the calculation right here in the editor so I have attached an image which you can refer.

quotient obtained after calculation = (2x/3 + 1). and remainder is 0.

That means (2x/3 + 1) is a factor of 2/3*x²+5x+6.

Hi ,

It is given that ,

p( x ) = ( 2/3 )x² + 5x + 6 ,

s( x ) = x + 6

x + 6 ) 2x²/3 + 5x + 6 ( 2x/3 + 1
********2x²/3 + 4x

Remainder ( 0 )

Quotient = (2x/3) + 1

Remainder = 0

I hope this helps you.
