In the attachment I have answered this problem.

I have applied long division method
to find the quotient and remainder .

Quotient: x^2 -5x + 4

Remainder: 0

See the attachment for detailed solution

According to the question there are two polynomial given as follow:

P(x) = 2x³–13x²+23x–12, s(x) = 2x–3

For this particular question we cannot show the calculation right here in the editor so I have attached an image which you can refer.

quotient obtained after calculation = ( x² - 5x + 4). and remainder is 0.

That means (x² - 5x + 4) is a factor of 2x³–13x²+23x–12.
