paradigm shift from women's studies to gender studies

There is a Paradigm shift because earlier women were needed to be motivated and their family members had to be counselled to allow the women to contribute to the nation. It could be by means of studying or getting employment or involving in politics.

The studied shifted to gender because now, both men and women have the same status.  They can equally participate in all the fields that require their contributions.  So, a study is required to analyse their “social, behavioural and cultural attributes”.  What are their expectations etc.

There is actually  paradigm shift happening form women study to gender study . This is mainly due to the rising awareness among the people and whole of the society, the rights of women are now  equals to the men so they can also do the same like independent person and whatever they want . this is why you always see women to participate in every field.Now the thing that really matter is the gender study . But the things was not same through the history , this is education which do create sense of responsibility as well as the freedom among the women so that they could be able to do the things in the way they. Hence the gender study taking place as the broad term now a day.
