The clinical thermometer is only desinged to measure human body temperature. The range of clinical thermometeris 37•c to 47•c.

The temperature is measured with the help of mercury which is in liquid form is in the bulb of the thermometer

The thermometer must not be dropped.
The thermometer must not be made to take reading above 110 oC, since, it is the upper limit of the thermometer.

The main parts of a mercurythermometer are the capillary, the bulb, the scale, and the expansion chamber.

Copper is used for electrical transmission because it is a good conductor of electricity and,it has low resistivity and it can carry current over long distance.
Aluminium is also used for electrical transmission because it is cheaper than copper.
