we know that parallel lines have supplementary interior angles on the same side of transversal.

so in lines AB and CD

AD is the transversal and <A +<D = 115 + 65 = 180°

so AB ll CD.

similarly in lines AD and BC

AB is the transversal and <B+<A = 65+115= 180°

so AD ll BC
