this is the area which we have to find...A
MNOP is a square of side=(14cm)
so, for the required area we will have to subtract the area of the square MNOP from [the sum of four quarters of radius 7cm]
so required area,
A=(14)²- 4[(π/4)(7)²]
A=196-4[(1/4)(22/7)×(7×7)]
A=196-4×(1/4)×(154)
A=196-154
A=42cm²
