Putting x=1 in f (x) polynomial

(1)^4+(1)^3-2 (1)^3+1+1

=1+1-2+2

=2

So,remainder therom says that any polynomial is divided by another polynomial it will leave reamainder 0

So the remainder is not zero So (x-1) can't divide it
