Let's we take R1 is the first resister and R2 is the second resistor

V= IR1

R1=V/I

= 5/5

=1 OHM

V=IR2

R2=V/I

=5/5

=1OHM

TOTAL RESISTANCE IN SERIES IS 2OHM

IN COMBINATION,

R1=V/I

=5*3/25

=15/25

=3/5 OHM

R2=V/I

=3/5 OHM

TOTAL RESISTANCE IN COMBINATION,

1/Rp= 1/R1+1/R2

=1*5/3 +1*5/3

=5/3+5/3

10/3

Rp=3/10ohm


hertz39: is it correct if we write like this . in series-R=5/2 and in parallel R= 5÷2/5 and then we calculate individual resistors by taking R1+R2 and R1R2/R1+R2 and then we solve both equations.........
