The rhombus is divided into 4 congruent triangles by its diagonals.

Also the diagonals intersect at right angles and since it is a parallelogram its diagonals bisect each other.

So by pythagoras theorem, 64 + 36 = s^2

s = 10 cm

Perimeter = 4*10 = 40 cm
