LOWER FIXED POINT IS LOWEST TEMPERATURE MEASURED ON A THERMOMETER HOWEVER THE UPPER FIXED POINT IS THE LARGEST TEMPERATURE THAT CAN BE MEASURED ON THAT THERMOMETER
