The greater the number of molecules, the more molecules of a substance you have.

Number of moles=mass/molecular mass

So for methane0.004/(12+(1*4)

= 2.5×10^-4 moles (mass is in kilograms)

And for 02:0.004/(2*16)= 1.25×10^-4

Which means that ch4(Methane) has more molecules.

Hope this helps.......

Thank you.

Molecular mass of sulphuric acid (H2SO4) = 1 x 2 + 32 x 1 + ... Mass of methane = 3.5 × 16 = 56 g ... 1 mole of oxygen is 32 g = 32 x 10-3 kg.
