Option 1) is correct
It can be explained by the following explaination

Circumference of bigger circle = 2πR
                                            88 = 2πR
                                              R = 88 * 7/22 * 1/2
                                              R  = 14 cm
Circumference of smaller circle = 2πr
                                             66 = 2πr
                                               r  = 66 * 7/22 *1/2
                                               r  = 10.5 cm

Width of ring = R - r
                     = 14 - 10.5
                     = 3.5 cm

:) Hope this helps!!!

Fawzan10: Bro the radius of the smaller circle is 10.5 cm then how it became as 3.5 cm in the step width of the ring.
nitthesh7: sry bro
nitthesh7: my request dont use pi = 3.14 until it is given as it goes for a long calculation
Fawzan10: ok
nitthesh7: hm....

Circumference of first circle = 88 cm
2πr = 88
2 * 3.14 * r = 88
r = 88/2*3.14
r = 44 / 3.14 * 100/100  [Making the denominator to a whole number from a decimal]
r = 4400/314 cm -------------------------------------------------------------------------1

Circumference of second circle = 66 cm
2πr = 66
2 *3.14 * r = 66
r = 66/2*3.14
r = 33/3.14
r = 33/3.14 * 100/100  [Making the denominator to a whole number from a decimal]
r = 3300 / 314 cm ----------------------------------------------------------------------2

Width of the ring = 1 - 2
                           = 4400/314 - 3300/314
                           = 1100/314
                           = 3.50 cm
                           = 3.5 cm

∴ the answer is i) 3.5 cm.
