I ll give u an idea of its solution...

First find the areas of the 3 semicircles..

And then find the area of the circle by taking the semicircle's radius as the circle's radius..

And then subtract the all semicircle's radius from circles radius...

let radius of bigger circle= r= 3.5 cm

area of bigger circle= A1=22/7×3.5×3.5= 38.5 sq cm

it contains 3 semicircle of radius=R=3.5/2=1.75

area of these 3 semicircle= 3×22/7×1.75×1.75=28.875 sq cm

are of shaded region= 38.500-28.875=9.625 sq cm
