Hlo friend, here is your answer.

Sometimes l know the words to say
To give thanks for all you have done,
But then they fly up and away
As quickly as they come.

How could l possibly thank you enough,
The one who makes me whole,
The one to whom l owe my life,
The forming of my soul.

The one who saw me off to school
And spend sad days alone,
Yet magically produced as smile,
As soon as l came home.

The one who tucked me in at night,
The one who stopped me crying,
The one who was the expert picking up,
When l was crying.

Hope it helps you.

With regards@

The poem "Somebody's Mother" is written by Mary Dow Brine. It describe the incident in which a young boy helps a frightened old lady to cross the road When she was igored by everyone else.

The favourite lines of this poem are
"And so without hurt or harm he guided the trembling feet along".

The figure of speech used in this poem is Inversion. "At the crowded crossing, she waited long."

I liked this poem because of the compassion shown by the young boy that teaches us to help the needy, old and poor people.

Hence, the poem is written very simply and reminds us of saying "Do unto others what you would have then do unto you".

I hope my answer
helped!
