Step-by-step explanation:

GIVEN :-

 \sf \: Dimension \:  of \:  cubiod

 \sf \: length \: (l) \:  = 120 \: cm \\  \sf \: breadth \: (b) = 54 \: cm  \\  \sf \: height \: (h) = 60 \: cm \:  \:

 \sf \: Side  \: of  \: small  \: cube = 6 \: cm

TO FIND :-

 \sf \: No.  \: of  \: cubes \: can \: be \: cut

SOLUTION :-

 \sf \: Let \:  no  \: of \:  cubes  \: be  \: n

  • Note volume of cubiod must be equal to the sum of volume of all the cubes.

 \sf \: Volume \:  of  \: cubiod(V) = (l \times b \times h)

 \sf \: V = (120 \times 54\times 60) \\  \sf  = 388800 \:  {cm}^{3}  \:  \:  \:

 \sf \: Volume  \: of  \: 1 \:  cube  =  {side}^{3}

 \sf \: Volume  \: of  \: 1 \:  cube(v)  =  {6}^{3}   \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: \\ \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: \:   \:  \sf  = 216

 \sf \: No.  \: of  \: cubes =  \frac{volume \: of \: cubiod}{volume \: of \: 1 \: cube}  \\  \\   \sf \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  =  \frac{388800}{216}  \\  \\ \sf \:   = 1800

 \sf \: Hence \:  no.  \: of \:  cubes.  \:  \green{n = 1800}

  • Note Volume of cubiod = (length×breadth×height)
  • Volume of cube = (side)^3

Thank you.
