To Find : Area of Rectangle Board

Solution:

A(2,2)   B(8,2)

Length of AB = √( 8 - 2)² + (2 - 2)²

= √(6)² + (0)²

= √(6)²

= 6

Length of AB =  6

B(8,2)  , C (8,6)

Length of BC = √( 8 - 8)² + (6 - 2)²

= √(0)² + (4)²

= √(4)²

= 4

Length of BC =  4

Area of Rectangle = AB x BC

= 6 x 4

= 24  sq units

area of the rectangle board = 24  sq units
