height of kite =60m
length of string=?
use here
sin@=height of kite/length of string
where @ is of inclination of kite with ground.
now,
sin30=60 m/length of string
1/2=60m /length of string
length of string=2 x60 m =120m
6) let tower height =h
if you plot figure then you gain triangle at above
use tangent here to find height of tower
1) when @=45 degree
tan45=(h-1.6)/20
20=h-1.6
21.6=h
height of tower=21.6 m
in the same way you try another question 2) tan60=(h-1.6)/20
20root3=h-1.6
h=20root3+1.6
=20 x 1.732+1.6
=36.24 m
