In a triangle ΔDEF, R and S are two points on the sides DE and EF respectively. ER=5cm, RD=2.5cm, FS=3.5 and SD=1.5cm.
∴, ER/RD=5/2.5=2/1 and FS/SD=3.5/1.5=7/3
∵, ER/RD≠FS/SD
∴, RS is not parallel to DF.

Answer:

In a triangle ΔDEF, R and S are two points on the sides DE and EF respectively. ER=5cm, RD=2.5cm, FS=3.5 and SD=1.5cm.

∴, ER/RD=5/2.5=2/1 and FS/SD=3.5/1.5=7/3

∵, ER/RD≠FS/SD

∴, RS is not parallel to DF.
