Given:
length of rectangular surface=L= 6m=6×100=600cm

Breadth of rectangular surface=B=4m=400cm
Height of water in rectangular surface =H=1cm

radius of cylindrical vessel=20cm
Height of water in cylindrical vessel=h
According to given:
Volume of rectangular surface = Volume of cylindrical vessel
LxBxH = pi r^2 h
600x400x1=22/7 ×20×20×h
h= 600x400x7/22×20×20
=4200/22.
=190.90cm

The height of water in the cylindrical vessel if the rainfall is 1cm is 190.90cm

here the volume of cuboid is equals to volume of cylinder.

therefore

lbh = pi r²h

6m x 4m x 0.01m = 2

2/7 x 0.2m x 0.2m x h

6m x 4m x 0.01m x 7 ///// 22 x 0.4m = h

3m x 1m x 0.07 //// 11 x 0.1m = h

0.21 m // 1.1m = h

0.19090m = h

190.90 cm = h
