Go to a dark room and turn on a light. If you see any object other than the light source…you’re seeing scattered light.
Go out side and look in the sky. If the sky is BLUE, you’re seeing scattered light. If you see stars and they appear to twinkle, you’re seeing scattered light. If the sky is red, you’re seeing scattered light. If you see white puffy clouds, yup…scattered light. If they’re are dark? That’s because even more light got scattered.
