Answer:

Cost price = 3500

Money spent on repairing = 500

Net Cost price = Actual C.P.+Overhead Expenses

= 3500+500 = 4000

Selling price = 3400

Cost price is greater than Selling price.

So, it's a loss.

Loss = C.P. - S.P.

= 4000-3400

= 600

Loss% = Loss/C.P×100

= 600/4000×100

= 15%

Cp=(3500+500)rs
=4000rs
So=3400rs

By using percentages method
4000rs =100%
3400rs=let say x

(X)4000= 3400(100)
X= 340000/4000
X= 85%
That means
600rs is 15% of 4000rs

So, seenam loss 15%
