Money spent on repairing = 500
Net Cost price = Actual C.P.+Overhead Expenses
= 3500+500 = 4000
Selling price = 3400
Cost price is greater than Selling price.
So, it's a loss.
Loss = C.P. - S.P.
= 4000-3400
= 600
Loss% = Loss/C.P×100
= 600/4000×100
= 15%
