Multiple of a said number means , that number is completely divisible by the said number.

For example when we say x is a multiple of y, that means x is completely divisible by y leaving no remainder behind.

Here the given number is 128, so when we divide 128 with 16 we get 8 as a result, since 16×8 =128.

Again when we divide 128 with 8 we get 16 as a result.

But when we try to divide 128 with 24 the answer comes in decimal which is 5.33.

Hence , 128 is the multiple of 16 and 8 but not 24.
