we have to plot the graph of function , f(x) = tanx between 0 to π/4
first of all, differentiate f(x) wrt x
f'(x) = sec²x > 0 for all x belongs to real numbers .
we know, any function, f(x) is strictly increasing only when f'(x) >0
hence, graph of f(x) = tanx is strictly increasing.
