Let aruna's present age be 6x .

And Karuna's present age be 5x.

From the question,

The difference of there present age is 5.

=> 6x-5x = 5

=> x => 5.

Present age of Aruna = 6×5 =30

Present age of Karuna = 5×5= 25.


The age of Aruna after 20years => 30+20= 50

The age of Karuna after 20 years = 25+20=45


Sum of their ages => 50+45
