Given :

√2x - √3y = 0  …………...( 1 )

√3x - √8y = 0 …………...( 2 )

Substitution  method is used to solve this Linear pair of Equations :

From eq 1 :

=> x = - √3y/√2  …………... ( 3 )

On Substituting the value of x in equation (2) we obtain :

√3x - √8y = 0

=>√3(-√3y/√2) - √8y = 0

=> (- 3y/√2)  - √8y = 0

=> y(-3/√2 - √8) = 0

y = 0

On putting y = 0 in eq (3)  we get :

x = -√3y/√2

x = (- √3 × 0/√2 )

x = 0

Hence, the value of the given system of equation is x = 0   and y = 0.
