Seeds have been made in such a way that they  are adaptive to their mode of dispersal . Some seeds possess hard coat or shell to withstand arsh conditions during dispersal. The shell is impermeable to any  material. For example which are dispersed by animals have hard coat to withstand the  arsh coditions in the animal's digestive system until elimination.

Soap nuts is a berry shell which naturally contains soap known as saponin.

This soap berry tree grows in Himalayas and called as eco nuts. When these seeds are gently rubbed on clothes and skin, it is used as soap.

These trees are grown without any fertilizers or pesticides.

These seed are blessed to have hard shells because the seed inside the nuts is soft and mild, hence, it should be protected from adverse climatic conditions and from the harmful effects of it.

Even if the nuts fall down, it can be used in a perfect manner as a soap.
